The newspaper "Azerbaijan" publishes the reflections of MP Javid Osmanov on the political activities of President Ilham Aliyev in connection with the birthday of the head of state - on December 24. The article talks about the development strategy implemented by the president, about continuation of the political course of Heydar Aliyev, large international projects that are implemented under the leadership of the head of state.
The newspaper "Echo" published an article entitled "The situation of the insurance market in Azerbaijan is very difficult." The author draws attention to the reduction of insurance fees of companies. The population does not have "extra" money for a voluntary type of insurance policy. The growth rates of the Azerbaijani insurance market have slowed down significantly in recent years. The reduction in the rate of fees badly affected mainly medium and small companies. Negative factor, in addition to the devaluation of manat and the decline in the population's solvency, is also the unfair treatment of some insurance companies. Trust in insurance companies is undermined by citizens because of professional fraud, that is due to the fact that some insurers illegally avoid payments.
The Novoye Vremya newspaper published an article titled "How to resist suicide?" The suicide problem in Azerbaijan is already becoming a nationwide one. Let even the official bodies do not want to recognize this fact, thereby driving the problem into a dead end. Unfortunately, on pre-holiday days, suicide again reminded of itself. The author cites suicidal cases committed the day before. The article also touches on teenage suicide, which in Azerbaijan beats all records. 2016 and the beginning of 2017 were marked by a series of suicides in educational institutions. Until late, the leaders of all state structures need to realize the full responsibility for what is happening and draw the proper conclusions from all cases of suicide in the country. Last night, three earthquakes occurred along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border with magnitudes of 4.8, 3.0, and 3.8, according to the Republican Center for Seismological Service of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan.
