On Monday, the Central Bank decided to reduce the discount rate from 15 to 13%. The upper limit of the interest corridor was reduced from 18% to 16%, and the lower limit - from 10 to 8%.
The website Azadliqinfo.az writes about the increase in pensions for different categories of pensioners. The author calls the increase in pensions by 5-10 manat a mockery of pensioners. Thus, a bonus of "people's love" is drawn to power.
The article expresses irony about the increase of scholarships from 35 to 38 manat. Students receiving 50 manat as scholarships will receive 55 manat from now on. In comparison with the 2-million fee for Lady Gaga, this figure is too meager, the author writes.
