The transformation of Azerbaijan into an international partnership center, relations between the authorities and political emigrants, and health problems are the leading topics of today's press.
The newspaper Azerbaijan writes that Azerbaijan is becoming an international center of partnership. The article tells about the VI Global Forum held in Baku, in which more than 450 representatives from 50 countries of the world took part. The article talks about the significance of the forum, the speech of President Ilham Aliyev at the event, and the statistical data on the development of Azerbaijan.
The newspaper Echo tells about the health system in Azerbaijan. The author together with experts discusses the healthcare situation, prices in hospitals and private clinics, and the issue of compulsory health insurance. Experts criticize pilot projects for compulsory health insurance. In fact, to solve the problem of access to quality medical services is quite simple: you need to introduce health insurance or increase the amount allocated to the development of health care in the country. Today, only 3% of the state budget is allocated for health care in Azerbaijan. But this is a meager figure, which, of course, is not enough. In many countries of the world, even developing ones, 10% of the budget is allocated for these purposes, that is, 3 times more than the funds allocated by the Azerbaijani government.
The website Azadliqinfo.az published an article titled "Boomerang effect of the policy of insults". The author discusses the relationship between the Azerbaijani authorities and Azerbaijani activists in political emigration. The protest actions organized abroad have become a source of great concern to the Azerbaijani authorities, who argue that the Azerbaijani political emigrants have moved to a policy of insults. In turn, and in response, the authorities exert pressure on the relatives of the political emigrants, who remain in Azerbaijan. It came to the point that MP Zahid Oruj appealed to the Caucasus Muslims Office with an appeal to react to these campaigns of political emigrants. -0-
