Religious Activist Held in MDCOC
Baku / 28.02.18 / Turan: The fate of the activist of the movement Muslim Unity, Revan Ismayilov, who disappeared on February 26, has been clarified. As members of this organization told Turan, today he called home and said he is kept in the Main Department for Combating Organized Crime (MDCOC) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The organization intends to attract a lawyer to defend Ismayilov's rights. It was impossible to receive comments in the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Ismayilov lived recently in Russia. On February 26 at 12.00 he arrived in Baku and immediately disappeared.
Earlier, on October 4, 2017, Ismayilov was arrested administratively for 30 days on charges of not submitting to the police. -16D-
