Sumgayit resident sets fire to himself and his beloved
A resident of Sumgayit, Mansur Yagubov, kidnapped a resident of the village of of Sarai, Lala Hanyeva, took her by car to 40 km on the Baku-Guba highway. They quarreled, and the girl refused to marry him. As a sign of "protest" Yagubov set fire to himself and the girl in the car, pouring gasoline.
As a result of burns, Yagubov died on the spot, and Hanyeva was hospitalized with bad injuries, according to the press service of the Interior Ministry. -03D—

Last night, three earthquakes occurred along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border with magnitudes of 4.8, 3.0, and 3.8, according to the Republican Center for Seismological Service of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported no information about any destruction or casualties as a result of the earthquakes.
