The Bar Association receives 152 complaints since the beginning of the year
Baku/10.07.18/Turan: Since early 2018, the Azerbaijani Bar has received 152 complaints against lawyers,AnarBagirov, chairman of the board, told the Azerbaijani service of the Voice of America. He said that 18 complaints were received from state bodies, 5 - non-governmental institutions, 129 - citizens.All complaints were considered at a meeting of the Presidium of the Bar Association.It was decided to apply to the court with the proposal to exclude one lawyer from the Bar; 27 lawyers have been warned, 7 - got reprimands, 8 - were made remarks, 5 - membership in the board were temporarily suspended.
Thus, 48 lawyers were applied a disciplinary measure; 104 complaints for the application of disciplinary punishment were refused. -03B06-

Last night, three earthquakes occurred along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border with magnitudes of 4.8, 3.0, and 3.8, according to the Republican Center for Seismological Service of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported no information about any destruction or casualties as a result of the earthquakes.
