Baku/27.03.23/Turan: Azerbaijani student Farid  Safarli, who disappeared in early March in Iran, has not yet been found, his mother Dilara Askerova, who came to Tehran to look for him told Turan on March 27.

Farid Safarli arrived in Tehran from Germany on February 20, where he is studying. After March 4, communication with him was lost.

The German police are studying his computer and personal connections, but  nothig has been  found  yet, the mother said. It is only known that Farid met an Iranian girl who also studied in Germany and followed her to Iran.

The mother told  she had found the phone number of this girl, she is studying in the last year of the Tehran Medical University. "I found out the number of the clinic where she is practicing. However, they told me that this girl has not been coming to the clinic for 20 days. It was clear that they were deceiving me and hiding the truth," the woman said.

Dilara Askerova hired a local lawyer and appealed to the law enforcement agencies of Iran. There is no name of Farid in the electronic system of detainees. "I was told that if he is detained for a serious crime, then there will be no name in the system. Espionage is also among the serious crimes," she said.
