Baku / 03.05.18 / Turan: On Thursday the Central Criminal Court of Iraq sentenced eight foreigners from different countries to life imprisonment for their participation in the activities
group "Islamic state", the report said on the website of the Supreme Judicial Council of Iraq.
According to the same source, among them are three citizens of Turkey, three from Azerbaijan, one from Uzbekistan, and one from Syria.
In late April, the Iraqi court sentenced 19 Russian women and ten women from Azerbaijan and Tajikistan to life imprisonment for cooperation with the Islamic State. -02D-
