Happy birthday! Wishes to the President of Azerbaijan Republic

Dear Mr. President, dear Ilham Aliyev !

I heartily congratulate you , my dear friend (I think I can call you my friend, because some time ago you  was officially awarded the title of "Friend of Journalists 2013" ) and  I wish you:

1.  to live in a country where paid health care  is not an  alternative to the poor quality and corrupt free healthcare;

2. to live in a country where the leadership of the country should not sent seriously ill people abroad for treatment, by this admitting  that the level of  the national healthcare is very terrible, and  is left at the mercy of the poor;

3. to live in a country where schooling really gives knowledge, and teachers do not have to  think constantly about the ways of alternative earnings, as teacher’s salary today  is not enough just to live;

4. to live in a country where people pay for a higher education for getting knowledge, but not for obtaining  marks;

5 . in a country where mayors are elected , and the head of the executive power  of  the capital knows something more than just sticking around the city fountains in parks and lay marble tiles;

6. in the country where the construction will take place not on the formula "where willed  there built", but according to some rational plan;

7. in a country where private property and  real estate are sacred, where people are not thrown out of their apartments, and get a miserable compensation guided allegedly  by a good purpose, such as regular cleaning of territories under grand park- project;

8. in a country where the army is a professional , educated, and the service will be prestigious;

9. in a country where the police will guard against bandits and not often combine in it  these two functions;

10 . in a country where people will seek help from the police, and not from the police ;

11. in a country where  people will serve in the police  to protect the citizens, and not to get

 loot , and, in general , because "my father or uncle are policemen";

12. in the country where in  the phrase "intelligent transport system", the word "intelligent”  will not be superfluous ;

13. in a country where the minimum wage  will help to live , and the officials  establishing  such salary  will , first of all, experience  it for themselves;

14. in a country where the pension  will allow getting older carelessly, and scholarship  will allow to study, and  not to think about other things;

15. in a country where  success in sport is  obtained by local athletes and not  by naturalized legionnaires invited into the country for the sake of immediate results ;

16. in the country in which before raising tariffs  for gasoline or utilities, officials talk about the objective reasons for such a step, and at least, express regret that  they had to increase prices, and not to  speak unconvincing nonsense for fools , playing on the nerves and testing the patience of the people;

17. in a country where the parliament really means something , and the vast majority of deputies really care about  electors, and  MPs respect  the electors;

18. in a country  which  laughs at the cult of personality  of Kim Chen, and not  make parallels;

19. in a country where official  is a servant of the citizen, and not vice versa;

20. in a country where laws are holy for all, and illegality will not be the supreme law of the country;

21. in the country in which all people will live comfortably, not just high-ranking officials , often relating  their jobs as a life source of decent income;

22. in a country where the rich people will be real businessmen , not officials , whose many relatives  are "doomed" to make  money in any sphere which is controlled  by their influential relatives, so they probably naively assume that the "competition"  is flavoring for soup;

23. in a country  where  professionals are welcomed,  and sycophants  are despised by all ;

24. in a country where  it is not so expensive to be born and to die as it is now, or costs  nothing at all cost because state  will take care ;

25. in the country in which the service «Asan Khidmet» will not be presented as something alien and will be commonplace ;

26. in a country where the opening of factories , parks , entertainment centers and even underpasses will occur immediately after the completion of construction, as a matter of course , and most importantly without the participation of the head of state , for which such steps , I think , are too shallow ;

27. in a country where in search of  justice people will not dive into a religion , and begin to call openly for life under sharia, their number is more than ever;

28. in a country where freedom of speech is real, and will not be subject to discussion ;

29. in a country where the media will live only  by the laws of the market, and where businessmen , when choosing a platform for placing their advertising will not be thinking about whether the resource  is criticized by the power or not  so you do not accidentally make a mistake, and  do not lose its business later for this mistake;

30. in a country where  journalists will  earn for the flats by their mind, and not  by other parts of the body ;

31. in the country in which it will be as  easy to take an interview form the  president as , for example,  from the President of Estonia , and as easy as it is today to be laughed at for the mere sounding  such idea;

32. in a country where being a sycophant  is shameful, and a man with liquid soap in  a pocket  is not a man;

33. in a country where the concept of " honor ", " conscience ", " man's word ", "justice " is  not just a set of letters and sounds;

34. in a country where the concept of "modesty in all things" will be part of mentality rather than a fashion statement;

35. in a country where  honest people  will not be called eccentrics .

36. in a country where relatives and friends  of the author of such congratulation  will not break off the phone after its publication with the words : "Are you sick ? You've got a family ... ".

Frankly speaking, I do not care if someone says that  there are not such things in any country in the world.  They say  we should  wish  our friends what  we would like to wish  us. So I sincerely wish you to live in such a country . Because I want to live in a similar , but  I do not know whether destined ...

Happy Birthday!
