Baku/05.03.22/Turan: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will hold a conversation with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on Sunday, March 6. This was reported by Anadolu with reference to the press secretary of the Turkish Presidential Administration Ibrahim Kalyn.

"The war must be stopped immediately. The parties should return to the negotiating table. Turkey, represented by President Erdogan, is making active efforts in this matter," Kalyn said.

According to him, President Erdogan, during a conversation with his Russian counterpart, will propose to hold a meeting in Turkey.

"We need to give a chance for a truce, to form humanitarian corridors. If the war drags on, not only Russia or Ukraine, but the entire region will feel the devastating consequences," Kalyn stressed.

He noted that Turkey is not going to abandon the dialogue with either Russia or Ukraine.

Ankara is ready to do everything possible that depends on it, the press secretary of the Turkish leader assured.
