Baku called the conditions for the termination of the anti-terrorist operation
Baku/19.09.23/Turan: The presidential administration of Azerbaijan has issued a response to the proposal from Karabakh Armenians for negotiations, stating that Official Baku is indeed prepared for talks with their representatives. However, the cessation of anti-terrorist operations can only occur if certain conditions are met: the Armenian armed groups must "raise the white flag," surrender all their weapons, and the illegal regime must voluntarily dissolve.
The statement from the Azerbaijani presidential administration underlines that they have previously extended invitations to engage in dialogue with the Armenian population residing in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan to address matters related to reintegration. Regrettably, these invitations were consistently declined.
The administration underscores its readiness to meet with Armenian population representatives in Yevlakh, a city located 295 km west of Baku and 100 km north of Khankendi. However, it reiterates that to halt anti-terrorist activities, certain conditions must be met, including the disarmament of illegal Armenian armed formations and the self-dissolution of the unlawful regime. In the absence of these actions, anti-terrorist measures will continue until resolution.--0--
