Well Known Doctor, Healthcare Official and Bass Player of Aesculapius Pop Group Died
Baku / 09.04.18 / Turan: The Deputy Minister of Health of Azerbaijan Abbas Velibekov died on April 8. The deceased was 70 years old. He held the post of Deputy Minister since 1999 and was the Chief Sanitary Doctor of Azerbaijan.
People of the older generation remember Velibekov also for his musical activity. So, in the 1970s he was a bass player of the well known pop group Aesculapius from the State Medical Institute, and he even managed to star in this role in the feature film The Day Has Passed.
