Azerbaijan Creates Tourist Areas
Azerbaijan will create special tourist zones, the Deputy Minister of Economic Development Sevinj Hasanova told the media. According to her, special zones will be created at the Caspian seaside for the development of beach tourism. In these areas, tax benefits will be applied.
However, Hasanova did not explain the status of these zones, where they are located and what is meant specifically by a tourist area.
Currently, tourism in Azerbaijan is developing badly and many people prefer to relax in the neighboring countries because of the high cost.
In particular, the cost of holidays in Azerbaijan is higher even than in Turkey. That is why every year more than one million Azerbaijani citizens go on holiday abroad, and especially to Georgia, with its lowest prices and good conditions. -02D-
