BAKU/11.09.13/TURAN : The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has abolished the licenses of 13 regional branches of JSC Bank Technique ( former Texnika Bank).
As reported by the Central Bank , they closed offices located in Agdjabedi , Dashkesen , Gyadabek, Shirvan , Geranboy , Kurdamir, Agsu , Ismayilli , Saatly , Geygel , Hajigabul , Gakh and Oguz . Since December last year, also were closed the bank's branches in Astara, Masalli, Agdash and Salyan . Thus, over the last 9 months 17 ??branches of Bank Technique lost their licenses.
Recall that at the beginning of last year, high-ranking officials of the then Texnika Bank, led by the chairman of the Supervisory Board and shareholder of the bank were taken on remand. From May to August in several special meetings of shareholders the composition of the Board, the Supervisory Board and the Audit Committee was updated, and decided to hold a re-branding and liquidate subsidiaries "Texkart" and LLC "Texnikalizinq".
Currently, Bank Technique operates through 35 branches and 15 offices. - 15B -
