European Investors Come to Azerbaijan for Its Stability
Baku/11.09.13/Turan : Today the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy hosted the first European- Azerbaijan Investment Conference , followed by bilateral meetings . Its leitmotiv is the economic and political stability in Azerbaijan , which has attracted more than 280 companies Baku from 12 European countries. Enthusiastic positive economic and investment performance speakers and businessmen do not bother the status of human rights in Azerbaijan .
Some critical remarks about the economic situation in Azerbaijan was of acting Head of Mission of the European Union in AR Toralf Pilz, who pointed to the dependence of the economy on the oil factor , the low level of competition and the fight against corruption. Speaking at the conference, a representative from Athens was talking about investing in the economy is facing a crisis of Greece. At the same time, Aristomenis Syygros telling of the bond connecting the two countries, noted that the advantage of Azerbaijan in the region is its political stability over the past 20 years.

The draft law "On Amendments to the Tax Code," adopted in its third reading, provides for tax exemptions on the sale of locally manufactured buses in Azerbaijan and the supply of spare parts for these vehicles. This was reported by the Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy, explaining that the government's initiative aims to support business development in the country by reducing the tax burden. The exemption will come into effect on January 1, 2025, and will remain valid for eight years.
