Life Insurance stepped in regions
The branch Qarb of the specialized life insurance company Pasha Hayat Sigorta has started in Ganja.
This is the first regional branch not only for Pasha Hayat Sigorta, but for the entire life insurance segment. The unit will offer customers a full range of voluntary and compulsory life insurance, including compulsory insurance of disability of individuals from accidents and occupational diseases in the production, life insurance and other types.
The press release stressed that the opening of this branch will facilitate access of the population living in the western region of the country to insurance services.
Pasha Hayat Sigorta received its license for insurance activity on February 14, 2011 and in the first quarter it was among the top three insurers in terms of premiums collected. The sole shareholder of the company is Pasha Holding. Its authorized capital is 40.25 million manat. -17D-

Azerbaijan's financial standing continues to strengthen as the country's foreign currency reserves have surged to $71 billion as of January 1, 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance. This figure, which includes reserves held by the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), far exceeds the nation's external debt, which stands at a fraction of its reserves, specifically nearly 14 times less. This robust reserve position reflects Azerbaijan's fiscal stability and the government’s strategic economic management.
