Stock Exchange Turnover Declined 15.4% for Three Quarters
Trading volume in the currency section of the Baku Interbank Currency Exchange (BBVB) in September 2012 was $ 40.477 million or 31.785 million manat.
This is a 55.6% decrease compared to the previous month and by 29.8% compared to September 2011.
The average volume of each transaction in e-trading system on USD / AZN reached this August $ 1.557 million, the average daily turnover - $ 2.024 million.
Just BBVB auction in September 2012 was attended by nine banks. In the reporting month, BEST 40 trading sessions and recorded 26 transactions.
Stock exchange turnover for the first three quarters of this year amounted to the equivalent of 541.25 million manat, which is 15.4% less than in January-September last year.
The exchange rate of the national currency in the reported month remained unchanged at 0.7846 per 1 USD. The average rate of the U.S. dollar against the manat in September was 0.7853 AZN for 1 USD, against 0.7853 AZN in August. - 15B -
