The lowest salary in transport and communications is on railways
According to the state of the economy of Azerbaijan by April 1, 2014, transportation had 75.1 thousand employees, of which about three-quarters (72.4 %) were the public sector employees.
According to the State Statistics Committee, 51.9 % of the staff is under the tutelage of the administration of land transport and pipelines, 12.2% - pipelines, 15.7% - air transport and 20.2% refer to supporting and auxiliary transport enterprises.
The highest average salary is at the aviators (AZN 782.5) followed by sailors (707.9 manat), subway workers (606 manat), motor vehicles (530.4 manat) and railways - (242.3 manat). The average salary in the transport system is 532.3 manat. According to statistics, the railroad salary has not increased, despite the low level.
In the communications and information technology enterprises at the average salary of AZN 694.7, there are 27,000 employees. - 17D-

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
