The main budget expenditures of Azerbaijan for 2015
In 2015, for the implementation of the "Southern Gas Corridor" from the state budget 928 millionmanat will be allocated, and from the Petroleum Fund - 1.341 billion manat, stated the Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov, introducing the draft state budget in parliament. For this project from the state budget will be spent 2.269 billion manats, or 8.8% of total expenditures. In addition, the budget in 2015 provided 300 million manat to complete the construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars and Baku Sea transport port.

According to official statistics from Azerbaijan, bilateral trade in 2023 reached 3.1 billion US dollars. In just the first ten months of 2024, trade volume increased by 17.1% year-on-year, reaching 3.02 billion US dollars, putting the annual trade figure on track to hit a record high.
