Since the beginning of this month features of clearing and settlement of the transactions concluded at the Baku Stock Exchange, as well as storage of government securities were transferred from BSE to The National Depository Center. In this regard, NDC had supplemented the price list of services.
According to the new price list, NDC applies a zero tariff rate for registration, record of transactions and storage of Treasury bonds and notes of the Central Bank , as well as maintaining a register of their owners. In addition, in connection with the implementation of this September clearing activities in the securities market zero rate of clearing and settlement of monetary items on the treatment of all types of securities.
It is noteworthy that after the NDC became the operator of clearing, in late August was suspended registration of transactions of purchase and sale of shares on the organized securities market. In the brokerage companies they connect it with a software update at the NDC. Brokers have accumulated hundreds of deals on clearance by the depositary. NDC does not comment on the situation.
At the beginning of this year has been completed the process of formation of the NDC as a central depository in Azerbaijan. To create conditions for electronic circulation of documents with the Exchange NDC, according to the new price list, there will be an annual charge of one thousand manats with the correspondent depository. Such a depository is single in Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
