Azerbaijan Fulfills Vienna Agreement

Azerbaijan provided OPEC with information on daily oil production for May as part of the fulfillment of the obligations of the agreement to reduce oil production.

The message of the Ministry of Energy says the daily oil production in Azerbaijan in May was 801,000 barrels. Azerbaijan daily exported 748,000 barrels of crude oil, 53,000 barrels of condensate, and 17,800 barrels of oil products. According to the agreement, Azerbaijan reduced daily oil production by 35,000 barrels, once again meeting its obligations, which in January amounted to 814,600, in February - 806,000, in March - 794,000 and in April - 785,700 barrels. During 2017, the average daily oil production was 781,900 barrels.

Countries outside the OPEC, in Vienna on December 10, 2016, reached an agreement on the extraction of oil. Eleven non-OPEC countries, including Azerbaijan, signed an agreement according to which the daily oil production should be reduced by 558,000 barrels. -0----
