Ali Aliyev and Elchin Rahimzade were interrogated at the State Security Service
Baku/06.11.21/Turan: The head of the Citizens and Development Party (PGR) Ali Aliyev and the head of the youtube channel Bumeranq Media Elchin Rahimzade were interrogated for many hours at the State Security Service (SGB) on November 6 and were released only late in the evening.
As Aliyev told reporters, the interrogation concerned one "sufficiently large-scale criminal case."
He said he could not reveal details.
At the same time, he noted that the treatment with him was correct.
When asked whether the interrogation was related to his political activities, he answered: “Now I cannot say anything. Probably, as the process goes on, we will see, find out ... ”, Aliyev noted.
Rahimzade said that he was taken from the office, where a search was carried out and the editorial office's safe was seized. According to Rahimzadeh, he was interrogated as a witness and the special services were interested in the sources of some of the videos distributed by Bumeranq Media.
Rahimzade said that the treatment with him was correct, there was no pressure.
