January 21, Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on celebrating what would have been the 90th birthday of his father - Heydar Aliyev - on 10 May 2013.
He approved a plan for the order of the festivities, and the Cabinet of Ministers has been instructed to expedite them. The kind of activities has not been reported. However, given past experience, it can be assumed that the activities will involve a number of meetings, rallies, concerts, books, posters, exhibitions and other evidence of the merits of Heydar Aliyev. -16D-
