K. Nagibeyli : Aim of Authorities - to Destroy El Movement
These calls to prosecutors seek to destroy the movement El, which has turned into a real political force. Turan was told by the deputy chairman of the socio-political organization Kochari Nagibeyli, commenting the investigation started by the Attorney General and calls for questioning the leadership of El.
"The authorities want to scare our activists, those who expressed support for the movement and thus to alienate them from political activity," said Nagibeyli, commenting on the 4-hour interrogation at the prosecutor's office on August 30.
According to him, the investigation at the prosecutor's office is pointless .
" The prosecutor's office should investigate serious things - corruption, violent crime, etc., and they are interested in who bought the water during the actions of our movement. "
Noting that the prosecutor's office began an investigation based on the provocative statements of the former member of El Aflan Ibragimov, who said that movement was allegedly preparing riots, he stressed that the movement acts only through democratic means and within the law .
At the same time, Nagibeyli did not rule out the possibility that authorities could do something to arrest its activists, but this will not cause them to abandon the political struggle.
Recall that the prosecutor's office also interrogated the leader of El, Eldar Namazov, for 4 hours, and they have also called another leader of the movement, Eldaniz Guliyev, on Monday. -05B-
