
Representative of the British Foreign Ministry met with opposition
On June 20, the Musavatb Party;s head office received the British Foreign Office Directorate representative for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, Alan Parfitt, and an employee of the British Embassy in Baku, Andrew Harvey. They met with the leader of the party, Isa Gambar and leader of the Popular Front Party, Ali Kerimli.
The meeting focused on the socio-political situation in Azerbaijan, human rights, and the problem of prisoners of conscience and political prisoners.
At the meeting they spoke about the political platforms of both parties and the leaders themselves, and the prospects of the opposition movement. -03D04
