To Improve Issuing Visas

The President has signed a decree on additional measures to improve the work of issuing visas, according to which for the effective organization of the issuance of visas, to improve the activities of the subsystem Visa, information interagency automated retrieval system "entrance-departure and registration" and taking into account the proposals of the relevant public authorities, the Cabinet is instructed:

- To ensure the connection of all embassies and consulates of Azerbaijan operating in foreign countries, to the subsystem "visa";

- To organize the technical service and support to resolve technical issues of the subsystem, updates of failed and obsolete equipment and permanent preservation of the subsystem in working order;

- To improve the software subsystem to create opportunities for detailed statistical analysis due to issued visas in the subsystem;

- Ensure the embassies and consulates of satellite communication by telecommunication satellite Azerspace-1 for the improvement of information exchange between the Azerbaijani diplomatic missions in foreign countries and the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan;

- Fully integrated subsystem with a single migration information system of the State Migration Service of Azerbaijan;

- To ensure the improvement of the verification procedure under the funding provided by the subsystem and events;

- Arrange for visas;

- Consider increasing the number of full-time employees of embassies and consulates of Azerbaijan in foreign countries, as well as the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan to ensure the efficiency of work visas;

- Take measures to verify the level of training of the interagency system "entrance-departure and registration" in connection with the 2015 first European Games;

Inform the President of Azerbaijan on the execution of orders specified in the disposal;

- Resolve other issues arising from the order.

The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry should establish a permanent training staff directly involved in visa applications at embassies and consulates. --17D--
