By the order of Minister of Interior, Major Tarkhan Akhmedov was appointed chief of the 42nd Police Station, located in the village of Nardaran. This department has recently been created specifically to control the situation in the village of Nardaran, where regular clashes with the police of the local population took place. As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.
