Azerbaijan becomes a donor of international NGOs
Council of State Support to NGOs discussed holding a contest for local and international NGOs. According to Farasat Gurbanov, the executive Director of the Council, now foreign NGOs are also able to participate in competitions. They can submit electronic applications through the site www.e-qht.az.
According to him, NGOs from 15 countries (France, Great Britain, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Poland, Norway, Russia, Turkey, USA, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Sweden and Lithuania) may participate in projects on the following topics: peace and safety, eliminating the effects of regional conflicts, the protection of human rights and freedoms, combating xenophobia, Islamophobia and racism, and strengthening of intercultural dialogue: informing the international community about the Khojaly tragedy.
Now NGOs can submit projects in the form of coalition. -05D-

In 2017, the Sumgayit City Court ruled to evict the Aliyev family—refugees from Gubadli (Akper, Sarvinaz, Ramil, and two other family members)—from an illegally occupied apartment in the 12th microdistrict, Building 7A, Apartment 35.
