Yerevan/22.08.13/Turan-ArmInfo: Catholicos of All Armenians, Karekin II, appealed to the Chairman of Caucasian Muslims Office, Sheikh Allahshukur Pashazade with the request to assist the return of the prisoners of war, Akop Injigulian, in Armenia. Catholicos sent a similar appeal to the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, Kirill.
Injigulian voluntarily went to the Azerbaijani side on the night of August 8. He explained his actions by violation of his rights in the army. The Armenian side stated that a pressure was made on him, and it is ready to return Azerbaijani prisoner of war, Firuz Farajeva, who is in Armenia for over a year. -02D-
