On July 8 the President Ilham Aliyev issued a decree on reappointment of Hafiz Pashayev a Rector of “ADA” University, established on the basis of the same name Diplomatic Academy of the Foreign Ministry. The President also approved the charter of the University of ADA.
The Cabinet of Ministers was instructed to submit proposals for the construction of the building, providing modern infrastructure and logistical base for training in information technology and engineering at the University «ADA».
The University «ADA» was created by presidential decree on 14 January 2014 on the basis of the Diplomatic Academy of the Foreign Ministry and the University of Information Technology at the Ministry of Communications. According to unofficial data, all the faculties of international relations at other universities will be closed, and will remain only in the ADA.
