In June, about 5.5 thousand taxpayers registered
In January-June this year Azerbaijan registered 42,681 taxpayers, including 5,490 in June, Turan was told in the Ministry of Taxes.
As of 1st July 2014 the number of registered taxpayers reached about 575,000. Since January 2008, registration of subjects of taxation in Azerbaijan has been carried out on the principle of "single window". From 2011-2012, the process has been conducted electronically. Nevertheless, the majority of entrepreneurs still prefer to do business without creating a legal entity.
In the first half of this year the Ministry of Taxes transferred to the state budget 3 billion 593.8 million manat, 57% of which accounted for the non-oil and non-gas sector. At the same time tax revenues from this sector increased compared to the same period in 2013 by 15%. - 08D-
