The impact of reforms on solving the problem of unemployment, discussion of personnel changes, and low level of business lending are the topics of today's media.
The newspaper Azerbaijan writes about solving the problem of self-employment against the background of ongoing economic reforms. The program of self-employment this year will cover over 10 thousand people. The number of people receiving targeted social assistance is also growing. So, each family of the kind receives an average of 200 manat.
Next year, a budget of 128.2 million manat was formed within the framework of the Insurance Fund's revenues, of which 111 million 900 thousand will be allocated for unemployment insurance.
63 million manat will be spent on the self-employment project.
Next year, 11,000 families participating in self-employment projects will be financed from the Insurance Fund.
Negotiations are underway with the World Bank on financing self-employment projects, and next year it is planned to provide self-employment for 1,000-2,000 families. In total, it is planned to ensure self-employment of 5 thousand families.
The website Musavat.com discusses the topic of bureaucratic business. The officials’ participation in business sooner or later creates a monopoly in this area.
In the real sector, the main problem is the shadow economy. The reason for its appearance is the business interests of officials.
The website Azpolitika.info discusses the latest personnel changes with the deputy Fazil Mustafa, who does not consider them unexpected. They are associated with accelerated reforms.
At the same time, the deputy does not put reforms and personnel changes on one scale. There is no need to create a conflict of old and young cadres. It would be more correct to divide them into sincere reformers and opportunists.
To deepen the reforms, it is necessary to create conditions for the active involvement of civil society institutions in the reforms that respect the interests of the state and citizens.

Baku, often called the "Caucasian Dubai," is increasingly known for systematic violations of residents' housing rights. During urban renovations and the construction of elegant new buildings, thousands of families in Azerbaijan’s capital have been unlawfully deprived of their homes. Many, recognizing the futility of resistance, settle for inadequate monetary compensation for their irreplaceable property.
