Son of O.Gyulalyev is accused

On July 30  a coordinator of the Public Alliance "Azerbaijan without political prisoners" Oktay Gulaliyev along with his son, a 17-year-old Ali Gulaliyev, were summoned to the General Directorate of Police in Baku. By 17:00 they were still there. According to available information, the young man is charged with hooliganism. The talk is about the incident September 23, 2013. On the evening of that day unknown stabbed Ali Gulaliyev. A year later investigation concluded that the "culprit" is the victim himself.

Oktay Gulaliyev was  summoned several times to the police on the eve of the presidential elections in 2013, when he was press secretary of the National Council of the candidate Jamil Hasanli. He made ​​it clear that his son could become the victim of a defendant, if he does not stop social activities and defense of political prisoners.

Because the hints of  police did not work, the investigation stated that Gulalyev’s son  first started the fight, and a lawsuit can be filed against him. Oktay Gulaliyev is the coordinator of the Public Alliance "Azerbaijan without political prisoners" and headquarters of civil society "Kura." In addition,  O.Gulaliyev for two years  is under absurd charge in calling for riots. The reason for this accusation became the fact that Gulaliyev invited  residents suffering from flood   to  participate  in the protest action.  —06В-
