Spouse of A.Sarkhani killed by security forces said about pressure and threats

Baku / 09.10.19 / Turan: Sevinj Sarhani, a spouse of Aga Sarhani, a member of the "Muslim Unity" Movement, who was killed during a special operation of security forces in Ganja in the summer of 2018, broadcast a video message in which she stated pressure on her by law enforcement agencies.

The woman notes that for more than a year she has been trying in vain to extradite her husband's body for burial.

According to her, after applying to various state bodies, she was summoned to the Kapaz district police department of Ganja and demanded to stop her complaints.

Otherwise, she was threatened with reprisal against the children.

S. Sarkhani further reports that after calling the police, people in civilian clothes monitor her.

She blamed the power of Ganja for possible damage to the health and life of her family members.

After that, a protest rally in front of the Ganja administration building against Veliyev was scheduled for July 10 on social networks. On the same day, the Interior Ministry reported riots in Ganja, during which two police officers were killed. Then mass arrests of believers and others began, as well as special operations, during which at least six people were killed.
