The Defense Ministry discusses the fight against bullying
On July 1 the Defense Ministry held a methodical meeting with commanders and deputy commanders for work with personnel, associations, military units, special schools, etc. The participants exchanged views on anti-hazing issues and abuse in the Army.
Then the meeting participants met with Defense Minister, Zakir Hasanov.
The Minister has set the task of creating a healthy atmosphere in the army, normal relations between employees, and a soldier brotherhood. Hasanov said that these issues should be the focus of the commanders and their deputies.
The minister also stressed the need to improve the skills of junior commanders and soldiers in the development of modern weapons.-05D04-

Last night, three earthquakes occurred along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border with magnitudes of 4.8, 3.0, and 3.8, according to the Republican Center for Seismological Service of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported no information about any destruction or casualties as a result of the earthquakes.
