The experts on the causes of the crash of Boeing in Rostov
«Boeing 737-800" could fall at the airport of Rostov-on-Don because of the strong wind, the head of the Civil Aviation Association, a test pilot Nikolai Karpov. According to him, in the Rostov region was a strong wind changing its speed and closer to the ground. Under such situation the wind constantly changes its direction and speed of this plane loses control. For this reason, it is strictly prohibited to land if there such a strong wind.
Karpov also criticized the work of airport ground services. For example, numerous attempts to land have caused severe stress of the commander. The plane did 10 circles, this is madness. The head of flights should took into account bad weather conditions, and to close the airport, but did not. Negotiations crew with terrestrial services , published online, indicate that the crew did not understand well bad weather conditions.
So, the commander several times asked about visibility, wind speed, and so on. However, the responses of controllers were not clear. There is not any warning that the situation was unfavorable, and the plane should not land.
