On Friday the weather in Baku and Absheron peninsula will remain hot, no rain, north-west winds up to 18 meters per second. However, short rains is possible at night in some parts of the peninsula.
Air temperature will be 19-24 at night, 29-34 degrees during the day, according to weather forecasters.
On the beaches of Sumgait and Absheron sea temperature will be 25-27 degrees.
No changes in weather will be in the regions of the country. In lowlands the temperature will warm up to 35 degrees, in mountains +22 +27 degrees.—16D--

On December 25, an Embraer 190 passenger plane operated by Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), on a Baku–Grozny flight, crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan. Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Aktau, Ayxan Suleymanlı, stated that the plane had 67 people onboard, including crew members, 38 of whom died. According to him, 26 of the deceased were Azerbaijani citizens.
