In November, the number of employed persons was 1,470,200 people. Compared with the beginning of the year the number of employees in the country increased by 82 700. President Ilham Aliyev linked this trend with the opening of new jobs. But according to a recent report by the Ministry of Taxes increase in the number of employees is the result of the legalization of jobs concealed from taxes.
At the beginning of December in the public sector worked 897,900 people, and in the private sector - 572 300.
In November in education worked 23.5% of the employees, in trade and repair of motor vehicles - 19.4%, in industry - 12.5%, in the provision of social health - 9.2%, in construction - 7.5%, in transport and warehousing - 4.9%, in agriculture - 3%, etc. It is noteworthy that the increase in the number of employees does not impact on their sectoral structure. - 08D-
