Interior Ministry Accuses PFPA Functionary of Fraud
The Azerbaijani Interior Ministry published a report on the arrest of a member of the Board of the Majlis of PFPA, Asif Yusifli.
Thus, the Interior Ministry claims that Yusifli took 7,700 manat by fraud from a Farida Zulfugarova and did not return the money.
He was charged under Articles 178.3.2 (fraud committed with the application of large-scale damage) and 320.1 (falsification of documents). He was arrested because he evaded investigation, the Interior Ministry said in the statement.
In turn, a PFPA source told Turan that the reason for the arrest of the activist is his active participation in the protection of citizens' rights violated by the authorities. In addition, Yusifli is a disabled war veteran and his vocation was to protect rights. -16D-
