Military exercises in the Armed Forces Day
A large-scale tactical exercises by the formations and units of the Defense Ministry, Interior Ministry troops, and the State Border Service, took place on the occasion of Armed Forces Day on June 26 at the landfill Gara Heybat near Baku. The military exercises were attended by the Supreme Commander, President Ilham Aliyev.
More than four thousand personnel, 80 tanks, 100 infantry fighting vehicles, 80 artillery systems, 10 combat aircraft, 20 military and military transport helicopters were involved in the exercises.
Upon completion of the exercise Aliyev addressed before the soldiers, and gave some of them medals and prizes. - 06D -
