Representatives of the PFA, Musavat, REAL and ADR will take part in the rally on January 19
Baku /18.01.19 / Turan: Tomorrow the rally of the National Council of Democratic Forces under the slogan "Freedom to Mehman Huseynov and the rest of the political prisoners" will be attended by representatives of the Popular Front, Musavat, REAL and ADR movements, stated the representatives of these three leading opposition parties in the country.
The authorities stepped up pressure on the activists of these parties, trying to prevent a mass anti-government rally.
The rally was authorized by the authorities and it will take place from 15:00 to 17:00 at the Mehsul Stadium in the Yasamal district of the capital.

The International Observatory for the Protection of Human Rights Defenders has called for the release of Anar Mammadli and other political prisoners in Azerbaijan. The petition, signed by 30 civil society organizations belonging to the Observatory, calls on the Azerbaijani authorities to drop all charges against Anar Mammadli, stop the persecution of independent voices in the country and unconditionally release all political prisoners.
