Action in support of the Azerbaijani blogger in Berlin
Image of the arrested blogger Omar Mamedov and an information on concocted case against him appeared on May 8 on the monitors in the Berlin subway. According to an Internet resource Meydan TV, information was taken from the magazine "Respublika- 14" and during the day will constantly appear on the monitors in the German capital.
The material reads that Omar Mamedov was arrested by political order, and is charged with drug possession. He can be imprisoned for three years.
Eighteen year-old blogger was arrested in January of this year, arriving in Baku from Cyprus, where he studied at the university. The true reason for his arrest was his page in Facebook, where he criticized the Azerbaijani government.-05D-
