Closing of Internet Clubs in Nakhchivan began since Friday. According to the owners, the order came from the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR.)Nothing is reported about the reasons for decisions. On Saturday, closure of Internet clubs continued in other towns and villages of Nakhchivan.
Local opposition believe that these measures are related to the upcoming presidential elections, as the number of active users of social networks has increased recently in Nakhchivan, and the authorities are afraid of organizing mass protests through Internet. -0 –
