Industrial development in the regions of Azerbaijan, the feasibility of merging banks, and the likelihood of a rise in prices are the leading topics of today"s press.
The newspaper Azerbaijan writes that the development of industry begins with the regions, since one of the main tasks for today is the development of the non-oil sector. In this regard, the author recalls the creation of industrial parks and says that in recent years small, medium and large enterprises have been established in the regions. As an example, he shows the plant Azertekhnoline, which was created by the Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park and provides work for 750 people. 56% of the plant"s output is exported. The article reports the completion of the creation of the Agstafa and Neftchala industrial zones.

For Azerbaijani citizens with an average income, going to the grocery store every day becomes a real test for stress resistance. There is a rapid increase in prices for virtually all types of food products, including domestic ones. Markets are empty. There are sharp jumps in the prices of food products by 15-20%.

Last night, three earthquakes occurred along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border with magnitudes of 4.8, 3.0, and 3.8, according to the Republican Center for Seismological Service of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan.
