Protest in front of the presidential administration
On January 6 a group of citizens held a protest in front of Parliament, and then the presidential administration. People chained themselves to each other and raised slogans demanding solutions to their problems. However, they were detained and taken to the administration building, reported the radio "Azadlig". Also were detained three journalists who covered the course of action. Protesters are ordinary citizens who complain about the unfair judicial decisions, illegal arrests, seizure of property and other violation of their rights by state officials. However, the protester Zeynaddinova Latifa claims that her 13-year-old daughter was abducted and subjected to 2 years of sexual exploitation. She accuses the police of Absheron district. Another complainant, Eldar Ismaylov said that 2 years ago the MNS officers kidnapped him along with his father and extorted money. After Ismailov filed a complaint a lawsuit was filed against them. These citizens have long run between the Attorney General, the Interior Ministry, the Cabinet and the Ministry of Justice, but nowhere can find justice. After that, they decided to hold a rally in front of the administration of the head of state. -03D-

Amid the bustling scenes of this year’s COP29 climate conference, a protest against whaling and deep-sea mining, organized by a group calling itself the FINS Initiative, drew significant attention from delegates and observers. However, questions have arisen about the legitimacy of the group, as an internet search yields little evidence of its existence beyond scattered mentions.

In the last two days, a "news" story appeared on TikTok about a whale spotted on Baku's seaside boulevard. The most "observant" users posted videos, commenting on the size of the animal. Later, other "witnesses" claimed it wasn't a whale, but a shark. Even later, a version emerged suggesting it was a submarine.
