On 5th May, a group of employees of the newspaper Azadlig held another rally in front of the office of the press distribution office, Gasid.
Participants of the rally demanded that the state company should pay the debt of 68,000 manat for the sold newspapers.
CEO Mirkazym Kazymov came to the protesters and acknowledged the debt. However, the firm is unable to repay the debt, said Kazymov, due to the bankruptcy of Gasid.
Editorial staff reminded Kazimov of his earlier promise to repay the debt weekly in small portions, andthat he is not fulfilling that promise. -05B-
