Resonance Murder Trial Starts in Yardimli
Baku / 09.10.19 / Turan: On October 10, the Lankaran Grave Crimes Court, chaired by Ilkin Abdullayev, has appointed a trial in the case of the murder of Bahruz Iskenderov, a resident of the Yardimli region.
This resonant crime was committed on February 23 of this year. Then a group of armed men broke into the village of Lazaran and killed Iskenderov in front of his 9-year-old son, inflicting numerous stab wounds.
Other villagers - Parviz and Tarlan Iskenderovs, and Ibrahim Mirzoev were injured. Then, the parties to the conflict attacked Iskenderov"s house, where there were five young children. The incident caused a great resonance.
71 residents of the village of Lazaran turned to President Ilham Aliyev and the Prosecutor General Zakir Garalov, complaining that none of the participants in the crime was detained.
On March 5, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor General's Office announced the initiation of a criminal case under this fact under Article 120.1 (intentional killing). One of the attackers, Teymur Huseynov, was detained and arrested on charges of murder by prior conspiracy (120.1 of the Criminal Code) and other articles.
Under the same articles, other participants in the attack were brought to justice: Royal Mammadov, Elshan Huseynov, Iskender Huseynov and Zamin Huseynov.
The investigation did not explain the cause of the conflict leading to the murder. -21C06--
