UN experts assess the impact of business on human rights in Azerbaijan
UN Panel of Experts August 18-27 will visit Azerbaijan to assess the impact of business on human rights. This is stated in a news release sent to Turan by the Department of Public Information of the United Nations.
According to the same source, the experts will appreciate the opportunities and challenges to the basic principles of the United Nations in the field of business and human rights. The visit is at the invitation of the Government of Azerbaijan.
The experts will also visit the second largest city of Ganja.
August 27 at 13.30 the experts will hold a press conference at the United Nations.
The final report with conclusions and recommendations will be presented in June 2015, the UN Council on Human Rights. -16D-
