Leyla Yunus: bullying continues
The arrested human rights activist Leyla Yunus handed another letter which states: "A medical examination in Azerbaijan is impossible without abuse, even in the presence of a doctor from Germany. On December 12, 2014, at 9:15 am the doctors from the Ministry of Justice came to my ward, and told a doctor from Germany came to examine me. I was told that he was in jail waiting for me in the medical center. But when I came out they told me that I will be taken to the diagnostic center in the "January 20". The travel was a torture for me.
The German doctor told me that he was sent from the European Union, and immediately began medical examination. There were another 8-10 local doctors in the room. Everything was quiet in the presence of the German doctor. I had ultrasound. MRI, X-rays and everything else. The last was a cardiogram. The German, who was always near, left, reassured me that it was a procedure, and he will take all the results.
All the time next to me was a woman from the convoy. She did not leave me for a moment. During taking a cardiogram a doctor-cardiologist asked me to take off the sweater and turn to the wall (although always they ask to lie on back.) In 15 minutes, I turned my head and saw a man on the right of the convoy, which was looking at me, naked, frankly and smiling.
Why, why again they mocked me ?? !!. I cried and asked why there was a man, if there is a woman out of the convoy, but there was no answer. Moreover, the head physician Agayev insulted and humiliated me. The German doctor was amazed, he sat beside me trying to calm me, and said that he could not imagine such a thing.
These abuses repeat regularly ..."

Modern wars test humanity's resilience, compelling a reevaluation of priorities and values. In such times, it is especially crucial to demonstrate not only strength but also a commitment to the principles of international law and humanity. Ukraine, facing an unprecedented scale of armed aggression from the Russian Federation, continues to uphold the norms of international humanitarian law (IHL) while resisting this aggression. The Voluntary Report presented by Ukraine's Ministry of Defense has become a symbol of transparency, accountability, and the pursuit of justice.

"Human rights" derive their foundation from justice. Justice is natural and connected to creation. From the moment of birth, this right is naturally granted to every person. Law, however, is something given — limited to what parliaments deem appropriate for us. The extent to which parliament represents justice and fairness is always a matter of debate.
