In Nizhnekamsk, workers went on strike - they were paid wages at the old dollar rate
Baku/03.06.22/Turan: This morning in Nizhnekamsk (Tatarstan), a strike of workers took place at the enterprise of the international Turkish construction company “Gemont.”
The strike at “Gemont” is the result of a sharp jump in the dollar, a daily increase in the exchange rate, BUSINESS Online was told in the press service of the executive committee of the Nizhnekamsk region. The workers did not like that they were paid wages at the old rate. The requirement of the staff was to refund the difference.
“The general director of Nizhnekamskneftekhim PJSC Airat Safin, who arrived at the rally, resolved the situation by giving the term for the payment of the amount of money according to the register provided by “Gemont” LLC until 14:00 of the current day. “Gemont” compiled a salary register at the exchange rate of 90 rubles per dollar agreed with the workers. Until the end of the day, wages will be transferred to all workers of the enterprise,” the press service noted.—0—
